Cloud as a Story - Vunvulea Radu

If you work in IT industry, then you should booked a ticket for ITCamp that will be held in May 22-23, in Cluj-Napoca. This is the 4th year when this great event is organized and each year the number of participants is greater, the number of session and tracks is higher and higher. Also the quality and level of sessions increased drastically every year. As usually, ITCamp will bring in Cluj-Napoca great speakers from all over the world. This year, CodeCamp and ITSpark started the year with full force. Today we had CodeCamp in Sibiu . It was a great event, where more than 80 people attended to our sessions. This was a great event, where people were very interested about technologies that were presented during this sessions: code metrics, HTML5, SignalR, Knockout.js, virtualization, Hyper-V, System Center 2012R, cloud, private cloud (using Azure Pack) were discussed during the sessions. At this event I spoke about code metrics and how we can monitor and use them using Sonar. Yesterday we had our first CodeCamp in Brasov . It was a great event, where more than 80 people attended our sessions. Even if it was our first event organized in Brasov in the last 3-4 years, people were very interested about the topics that were presented. We also had the opportunity to discover a little bit of Brasov history and the beauty of the old town. This is one of the most beautiful city from Romania and has great and smart people. This event was organized by CodeCamp and ITSpark and was sustained by iQuest Group and Microsoft Romania . Thank you for that. From each community(CodeCamp and ITSpark) there were 2 and 1 MVPs (3 in total) that talked about the latest technologies and trends that are now on the market. Last Saturday we have the pleasure to organize in Cluj-Napoca, Windows 8 Dev Camp . In this great event we talked about the new operating system from Microsoft, Windows 8.  Almost 100 people attended to this event. Different subject were approached from the developer perspective. Two sessions talked about the new functionalities of Windows 8 and also about how a Windows Store Application should look like and interact with the user. In another session we looked over the new HTML 5 and JavaScript support and how we can build native Windows Store Applications using them. My session was the last one of Windows 8 Dev Camp and I talked about WinRT and the architecture of Windows 8 looks like. Saptamana aceasta am participat la o noua editie ITCamp , care a avut in Cluj-Napoca. Editia din anul acesta a fost una extrem de reusita. Prezentarile pe care le-am savurat cel mai mult au fost a lui Lino Tadros, Tim Huckaby si a lui Raffaele Rialdi. Acest eveniment a fost organizat de CodeCamp si de ITSpark si a adunat peste 250 de persoane. In cele doua zile, cat a durat ITCamp am avut 3 track-uri simultan si o sala pentru hands-on-labs. In comparatie cu editia de anul trecut, aceasta editie mi s-a parut mult mai reusita, iar continul la fiecare la toate sesiunile mi s-a parut extraordinar.
