[Post Evet] Azure Tech Series - Database Modernization

Microsoft Romania started 6 weeks online event called Azure Tech Weeks, where each week local people are delivering technical sessions to the local community. One of the things that I enjoyed at this concept is the agenda. Each speaker has the ability to decide the content and the topic that they want to cover.

Today I had the opportunity to deliver a session about Database Modernization. Initially, I was thinking to cover topics like CosmosDB and DataLake, but I realize that one of the most common things where people are struggling is database migration from on-premises and cloud. Taking this into account I decided on a session where I cover topics like migration plan, tools that can be used during the migration and best practices related to it.

How to audit an Azure Cosmos DB

In this post, we will talk about how we can audit an Azure Cosmos DB database. Before jumping into the problem let us define the business requirement: As an Administrator I want to be able to audit all changes that were done to specific collection inside my Azure Cosmos DB.
