It was a crazy week - in a GOOD DAY. I was invited by .NET Developers Days team to deliver 2 sessions in Warsaw at their conference, and it was a big WOW.
They were able to gather more than 1.500 people to a .NET conference. This is not an easy thing to do, but with a lineup of speakers like the one that they had (including Scott Guthrie and Richard Campbell) you can do it.
The event was a big success, including the party at the end of the first day. The quality of the sessions was high, and I was happy to see that each session was 1 hour. The current trend is around 40-45 minutes, and many times you don't have enough time to go very deep.
I had the opportunity to deliver two sessions at this event. The first one was technical, and the second one was a non-technical session. You can find below the slides and abstract from my sessions.
... and YES, I had a great time here, in Poland.
Title: Serverless functions or microservices
Abstract: A trick question in the cloud era, where we have both options available at our feet. What should we use? What are the tradeoffs? Why I should use and not the other one? If you join this session you might find answers to these questions.

Title: 13 mistakes of a developer
Abstract: After more than a decade in the IT industry, I’ve seen and done a lot of mistakes not only from the business side but also from people and company management. This is not a session, this is a talk between IT geeks, where I will share with you funny stories of my life that could ruin or create a unicorn.
