[Post Event] .NET Developers Days, Warsaw, 2019

It was a crazy week - in a GOOD DAY. I was invited by .NET Developers Days team to deliver 2 sessions in Warsaw at their conference, and it was a big WOW. They were able to gather more than 1.500 people to a .NET conference. This is not an easy thing to do, but with a lineup of speakers like the one that they had (including Scott Guthrie and Richard Campbell) you can do it. The event was a big success, including the party at the end of the first day. The quality of the sessions was high, and I was happy to see that each session was 1 hour. The current trend is around 40-45 minutes, and many times you don't have enough time to go very deep. I had the opportunity to deliver two sessions at this event. The first one was technical, and the second one was a non-technical session. You can find below the slides and abstract from my sessions. ... and YES, I had a great time here, in Poland. Title : Serverless functions or microservices Abstract : A trick question in the cloud era

[Post Event] Cloud Meetup, Medellin, October 2019

These days I had the opportunity to take part in a community event in Medellin (Columbia). It was a wonderful experience where I was able to meet and connect with the local IT community. I discovered people with a high level of experience, with fantastic energy, ready to learn and improve their skills. The session that I delivered at this meet-up was about the cloud, Azure and the things that we need to take into account when we kick off a cloud project. Title : Day zero of a cloud project Abstract : In this session, we will take a look at what we need to keep on our radar when we start a new project inside the Cloud. When not only us but also clients are new to the Cloud ecosystem, we need to be aware of small things that can make a difference or secure the success of the project. Things like security, environment isolation and access controls are just a tiny part of the things that we need to be aware of. There will be examples from real-life projects and hands-on implementati
